Hello guys! My name is Marc Amandoron, and I am a biology major hoping to attend medical school. My dream is to become a pediatrician and to someday have my own clinic. I was born in Cebu, Philippines. I moved to Maryland when I was 5 and then to Las Vegas when I was 8. I like to assemble models and attend car meets during my free time. Whenever I am not studying, I make sure to spend quality time with my friends and family. I love meeting new people and am always ready to share snacks. As a proud member of the Wellness Committee, I am always willing to help any of you with stress and am here to listen. I look forward to seeing you guys at our socials and wellness events!

I’m excited to see all of you at our upcoming socials!
Hi AED, my name is Asli Ozdemir and I am currently a Pre-Professional Biology here at UNLV. After graduating, I hope to attend medical school. I was born and raised here in the Las Vegas valley. When I’m not studying, you’ll find me hiking, rock climbing, traveling, or hanging out with my friends and family. I hope to encourage fellow AED members to not only prioritize their studies, but their mental, physical, and emotional health as well. I look forward to seeing you all at the wellness events!
Hello AED! My name is Marie Hashitani, and I am sophomore studying Pre-Professional Biology, working toward medical school. I am a first-generation Japanese American, born and raised in Las Vegas. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling to unique cities and countries to learn about different cultures and experiences. When I am not travelling, I value my time with my friends and family members. With the Wellness Committee, I hope to be able to plan stress-relieving events for all AED members to nurture their own physical, emotional, and mental health. I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!
Hello AED! My name is Moira Vasquez, I’m a pre-professional biology major. After my undergraduate studies, I hope to continue on to medical school to become a family physician. When I’m not drowning myself in schoolwork, studies, and other extracurriculars, I enjoy sleeping, being idiots with my friends, listening to all kinds of music, playing video games, and singing (I go pretty wild for karaoke) at any given point. I also have two adorable dogs that I call my fatties, and I love to mess with them when they’re not being lazy. I’m extremely excited to be one of your humanitarian officers, and I look forward to meeting all of you at future AED events!
Hi! My name is Calida and I am a Pre-Professional Biology major. In the future, I hope to go to PA school. When I have the time, I hang out with my friends, find new cafes or restaurants to try, or you can catch me playing League of Legends or Hearthstone. If I’m not doing any of those things, I’m probably catching up on sleep. I hope to meet you all soon!

Hi AED, I’m Natalie. I am in my 4th of 5 years as a Biochemistry major with hopes to go to medical school upon graduation. When I’m not studying, you’ll likely find me outside hiking, at a coffee shop, or doing acro-yoga. I’m excited to plan events like the Rebel for A Day Pre Med Conference and Physician Appreciaton Reception to help high school students in The Valley and recognize physicians for their service to our community!
Hi AED! My name is Grace Petrykowski and I am a biology major with a pre-optometry focus. One of my major goals in life is to become an optometrist and start my own practice. When I’m not lifeguarding at UNLV’s rec center or studying at home, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, working out, watching tv, and eating chocolate. I’d be more than willing to share what I know about the optometry field with anyone interested (there’s always room for more)!
