Opportunity Village is a not-for-profit organization that serves people in our community with intellectual disabilities, enhancing their lives and the lives of their families. They will be hosting their Magical Forest event from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Volunteer roles vary widely during this shift, and include things like welcoming guests, serving food, acting as crossing guards for our Forest Express train, and operating our many attractions and rides. An auction-style role placement will happen at the beginning of each nightly shift.
Dresscode: Festive attire is welcome but please no scary costumes. Close-toed shoes are required. AED Shirt and bottoms must be at least knee-length. Please dress for the weather - wear layers! No leggings as pants.
Parking Info: OV share a parking lot with CSN which you can enter off of Torrey Pines. Look for signage for volunteer entry - if you see big green Magical Forest gates you are in the right place!
- Individuals do NOT need to create their own profile. We will have your sign-in sheet/waiver for your team to sign at check in.
- Minors MUST bring the attached minor form for check in
