About the event
Goodie Two Shoes Foundation (GTSF) is a Las Vegas-based 501c3 organization providing disadvantaged children and children in crisis with new shoes and socks. GTSF hosts shoe distribution events onsite at qualifying schools in the valley in an effort to best reach large groups of children most in need, outfitting more than 10,000 children annually through 25+ activations.
We will be helping with GTSF’s upcoming shoe distribution from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, with no exceptions for early departures. Volunteers will be paired with a child to assist during the shoe selection process, from finding the perfect pair to checking out. Given the large number of students in each school, volunteers will be working with 4 - 10+ children throughout the entirety of the event.
Please note that these events are rain-or-shine outdoor events with physically-demanding tasks that include extended periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, etc. Volunteers must meet these physical requirements without limitation and dress appropriately for the activity and conditions; i.e. dress for the weather!
*All volunteers must individually register online through the following link (insert link coming soon).
GTSF Policies:
- All volunteers must be over the age of 18 AND fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of registration for this event.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the event. If you are more than 15 minutes late, half of event hours will be deducted. If you need to cancel, please cancel 72 hours prior to the event or 3 hours will be deducted!
Once you have officially signed up, please send a screenshot to the officer(s) in charge.
