Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary
Come volunteer at the Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary. We will be cleaning habitats, helping maintain the park, and learning how to groom goats! A tour of the sanctuary is included in volunteering.

About the event
Hello AED!
The Animal Welfare Committee is hosting a new event! We will be helping out at the Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary. This sanctuary is dedicated to providing a safe-haven for animals of all types. We will be cleaning habitats, providing new bedding, and helping maintain the park. Afterwards, we will learn how to groom goats and your the santuary!
Dress-code: Please wear an AED shirt, long pants, closed-toe shoes, and a face-mask. Please wear pants and shoes that can get dirty. If you have work gloves, bring them!
All personal belongings need to be left at home or locked in your car with the exception of your phone, a bottle of water, and/or a small bag.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the event. If you are more than 15 minutes late, half of event hours will be deducted. If you need to cancel, please cancel 72 hours prior to the event or 3 hours will be deducted!
The event is located in the centennial/north las vegas area ( a far drive from unlv) so please plan accordingly! We are excited to see you there!
