Hey there AED members, join us for an exciting morning with Special Olympics during their Swimming Regional, where we will help set up the event, hand out waters, cheer on the athletes, and much more!

About the event
Through the power of sports, Special Olympics help people with intellectual disabilities discover new strengths and abilities, skills and success. Their athletes find joy, confidence and fulfillment — on the playing field and in life. They also inspire people in their communities and elsewhere to open their hearts to a wider world of human talents and potential.
On Sunday, May 15th from 7:00am to 2:00pm, Special Olympics will be hosting a Swimming Regional at Heritage Park Aquatic Complex!
In this event, volunteers will be involved in keeping scores, cheering on the athletes, handing them water, setting up the event, and more!
*Dress code: includes closed-toe shoes and an AED shirt (or a solid-grey shirt). Shorts are allowed.
