Science and Technology Festival Set-Up

The Las Vegas Natural History Museum (LVNHM) has invited AED to help volunteer at this year's Science and Technology Festival! There will be two days (you can sign up for one day or both days):

Friday May 3

Saturday May 4

On Friday May 3, we will help setting up vendor booths. This involves moving equipment and making the expo look presentable. The shift will be from 3:00pm to 7:00 pm. 

On Saturday May 4, the actual expo will take place! There will be several shifts available for the day, so please email the Pre-Pharmacy Committee Officer, Jeremy Batu, at batuj2@unlv.nevada.edu which shift you will like to do. You can also sign up for all the shifts you want to! The following details the shift times and the tasks the volunteers have to do (we will be helping out the vendors also during the event if they need help):

6:30am to 9:30am

Set up vendor booths, direct vendors, direct guests, check in guests

8:00am to 11:00am

Set up vendor booths, direct vendors, direct guests, check in guests

9:00am to 12:00pm

Set up vendor booths, direct vendors, direct guests, check in guests

10:00am to 1:00pm

Set up vendor booths, direct vendors, direct guests, check in guests

1:00pm to 4:00pm

Set up vendor booths, direct vendors, direct guests, check in guests

4:30pm to 7:00pm

Set up vendor booths, direct vendors, direct guests, check in guests

Please sign up by Sunday April 28 by 11:59pm if you are interested. 

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time of the event. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will only receive half credit for your humanitarian hours for this event. You must sign in and out with us during the event to receive credit. If you have joined and need to cancel for any reason, please cancel at least 72 hours before the event or you will be penalized -3 hours. Also, please wear your AED t-shirt with pants and closed toed shoes.
