This workshop is led by the Dean of Admissions at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, who will go through the admission process, the type of applicants they look for, and the steps they must take to succeed. Dr. Lucero has a decade of experience in medical school admissions and participates actively in the recruitment of underrepresented students to the profession of medicine through her work in pathway and outreach programs.
