About the event
As members of the Bone Marrow Committee and partners with the Gift of Life organization, we believe every person battling blood cancer deserves a second chance at life — and we are determined to make it happen. We are singularly passionate about engaging the public to help us get everyone involved in curing blood cancer, whether as a donor or a volunteer. It all begins with one remarkable person, one life-changing swab, and one huge win — finding a match and a cure.
We will be tabling at the UNLV Free Speech Zone, in front of the CBC, on March 7th from 9 am to 1 pm in an attempt to register people into the Bone Marrow Registry. Every swab by an AED member amounts to 2 hours of humanitarian hours, and every additional referral equates to 1 hour. There is no cap on the number of referrals allowed, so…
