AED Blood Drive 11/15/-11/16

Hello AED! It’s time for our third blood drive of the semester! This drive will be held Wednesday, November 15th, and Thursday, November 16th from 11:00AM-3:00PM.  The drive will be held in the Free Speech Area. We need volunteers in order to make this event a success. As a volunteer, you will be asked to perform a variety of tasks which include soliciting by-passers for donations, checking in donors, escorting donors onto the bus, and other tasks as needed. We will need Two Volunteers for each time slot. The time slots are as follows: 10:30 am – 11:30 am 11:30 am – 12:30 pm 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm

ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE LIABILITY FORM Failure to show up to your assigned time slot will result in a 3 Hour deduction from your overall semester hours. The same will occur upon cancellation with less than 24 hours notice. Volunteers are required to wear their AED shirts. Failure to wear your AED shirt during your shift will result in a 0.25 Hour deduction. Cell phone use during shifts is not permitted. Please treat this event as you would any other Humanitarian event. If you wish to donate blood yourself, something that we highly encourage, please refrain from scheduling your donation during your volunteer hours. Please do so either before or after your shift. We highly recommend you take part in these life-changing events! Blood donations help save lives each and every day, and it is incredibly rewarding to be a part of that.
